Summer Camp

Stay active with fun physical activities, sports, swimming and games. Stop summer learning loss with fun, hands-on projects focusing on math, science, writing and the arts. Build character by practicing honesty, respect, caring and responsibility in a positive environment. And who can forget, meeting new friends, exploring on exciting field trips and attempting to set a World Record!

Built around the core character values of the Y - Caring, Honestly, Respect and Responsibility – Summer Camp at the Y is designed to keep kids active and healthy in mind, body and spirit throughout the summer. With the careful instruction and guidance of our trained staff, weekly themes guide activities allowing the camper to learn, discover, experience, grow, develop and have tons of fun!

Camp is for students who are currently in Kindergarten through 5th grade and runs for eight weeks from June 4 – August 3 Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM at East Middle School in Sioux City, Iowa.

NEW 2012 Camp weekly rates per week per child:

Whole summer: Y Member- $88; Non-Member- $96.

Consecutive four-week block: Y Member- $99; Non-Member- $108. (first four weeks or last four weeks).
(Save 10%!)

Week-to-week: Y Member- $110; Non-Member- $120.

What is included with cost?
Morning snack and afternoon snack.

What to bring?
Lunch, gym shoes, swim attire, swim towel and sunscreen.

Deposit required?
A deposit of $25 per week per child is required at the time of registration, which will be applied to the camp fee. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE.

Refunds?
Refunds, less the $25 deposit, may be issued if cancelled at least one full week prior to start of camp. No refunds will be issued once camp has started.
