Diabetes Exercise Program
DON’T LET DIABETES WIN
This twelve-week wellness and education program is designed to help you reduce risk factors related to diabetes and to assist in the management of diabetes through aerobic and resistance training exercise.
Classes are held twice weekly and will include guided, personalized workouts focusing on your strength, cardio and flexibility – all led by motivational instructors. We will also help you track and monitor blood glucose levels.
Who can join?
Adults (18+) diagnosed as pre-diabetic or with type 2 diabetes.
Medical clearance from health care provider and a copy of recent HbA1c test results (60 days prior to the start of the program) are required in order to participate.
This program meets twice per week for 12 weeks.
For diabetes and pre-diabetes individuals the following is required in this program:
– Participation in guided workouts led by nationally certified instructors
– Pre and post exercise glucose testing
– Pre and post tracking of A1c levels
– Medical clearance is required
