Living Room Workout

Don’t have time to make it into the Y? Stuck in a blizzard or worse yet – at the in-laws?! No sweat, you can still sweat with a great workout in the living room from Wellness Coach & Personal Training Coordinator Jill Becker.

Perform 10 reps of each exercise. Repeat 2 – 3 times.

Push-ups

Squats – Stand up in front of a chair, feet shoulder width apart. Bend your knees, while making sure your knees don’t go in front of your toes.

Lunges – Make sure your knee doesn’t touch the ground!

Superman – While lying on stomach, place arms above head while lifting arms and legs.

Couch Raises – While on couch, lay on your side and perform straight leg raises.

Couch Bridge – While on couch, lift up butt and hips and hold for 10 counts.

Chair Crunches – With hands behind your head, bend forward towards belly button.

Chair Tricep Dips – Place hands on seat with legs bent 90 degrees and bend elbows down.
