An Epic Adventure is coming to Y Summer Camp in 2017!

All Pre-K – 5th graders are invited to join us for a summer adventure filled with field trips, sports, science, swimming, art and the great outdoors.

What: Full-day, 8-week Summer Camp, Licensed day camp

Who: Students, Pre-K – 5th grade

When: June 5 – June 30, 2017 (No Camp July 3 – 7)

July 10 – August 4, 2017 

Where: Dakota Valley Schools (Drop-off and Pick-up locations below)

Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM


LUNCH and SNACK INFORMATION – Please remember to pack your child a sack lunch. The YMCA will provide a morning and afternoon snack.

MORNING DROP-OFF (Monday -Friday)

(programming begins promptly at 9)

Keep your child happy, healthy, active and having fun all summer long with health and field trips, sports & games, swimming at the South Sioux City Outdoor Pool, nutrition programs, arts projects, literacy programming, mathematics exploration, science projects, water fun days and so much more from the region’s best summer camp!

All staff are CPR-certified and go through extensive training in order to give all kids a fun, safe and memorable summer!

$1,200 tuition per child for the whole summer
($200 non-refundable deposit required at time of registration to hold a spot…because they’ll go fast! Deposit will be applied to Camp fees.)

• Payment plans are available.

• The Y wants every child to have the chance to participate in Y Summer Camp, which is why we also offer need-based scholarships to families who qualify.  A limited number of scholarships will be available.
Scholarship applications must be received and payments started no later than May 20. Contact please contact Ryan Dunkel to apply for financial assistance.

• Y Summer Camp strives to be as inclusive as possible. However, it is unable to provide one-on-one care and may not be able to meet all special needs. If your child is on an IEP or will need any special accommodations, please contact Ryan Dunkel, before registering to determine if Camp can meet your particular needs.
