Youth Strength Training
The YMCA’s Youth Strength Training Program is designed to teach kids ages 12 – 15 the basic principles of health and fitness. This program will provide kids with an opportunity to learn what lifts are essential to improving athleticism as well as how to improve body mechanics during lifting. It will also cover how to properly warm up the body to decrease the potential for injury.
