Give your child the ultimate flag football experience with NFL Flag Football at the Siouxland YMCA—open to boys and girls in Kindergarten through 9th grade! As an official NFL Flag program, our league combines the excitement of football with the safety of a non-contact sport, plus all the fun and character-building you expect from the Y.
Every player gets to wear an official NFL team-branded jersey and learn from trained coaches in a supportive environment.
Program Information
Schedule
- Practices: Teams will have at least one practice during the week
- Games:
- Grades K-4th: May 23 - June 27 | Saturdays
- Grades 5th-9th: May 21 - June 25 | Thursdays
- Location: STF Expo Center

Equipment: Mouth guards are mandatory. No jewelry can be worn during games or practices. Cleats (non-metal) are recommended.
The NFL FLAG FUND offers financial assistance for NFL FLAG participants nationwide. A parent or legal guardian of the participant must complete the application to be considered for the 2025 NFL FLAG FUND grant cycle.
Volunteer Coaches Needed!
Our sports programs rely on volunteer coaches, and we’d love to have you join us!
No experience required—just enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help kids grow. Please note: we do not provide coaches, so each team must have a volunteer coach to participate.
Refund Policy
- Refunds requested more than 10 business days before the season start: 50% service fee applies, credited to your YMCA account.
- No refunds for cancellations within 10 business days of season start.
- If the program is canceled due to low enrollment, a full refund or credit will be issued.
