Early Learning and Youth Development Center

The Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA is working on an ambitious and transformative plan to increase our impact right in the heart of Siouxland. Our vision is to create a more extensive and enriched space that will better cater to the needs of our community and enable us to serve even more individuals and families than ever before. We are expanding the current facility to achieve our vision, a 12,000-square-foot expansion will house the new Early Learning and Youth Development Center. The center will provide accessible, high-quality, affordable childcare and youth development programs in the Siouxland community.

Children ages 6-weeks to 16 years of age will be able to enjoy the Early Learning and Youth Development Center, which will include 4 childcare rooms, 2 flex rooms, and an indoor playground.

The campaign aims to raise a total of $4,600,000 to fund this ambitious expansion project. The construction phase of the project will take approximately 14 months to complete. The Y’s goal is to have the Early Learning and Youth Development Center welcome families in 2025!
